Summer begins at the Ogier Gardens

Lianna Norman, Editor-in-Chief

The Ogier Gardens provide activities frequently that have to do with sustainable gardening habits. Often, these events pop up weekly. They include potlucks, tea time, organic gardening classes and composting classes. This week, the gardens are jumping into the summer term with one of their composting classes.

The first Compost 101 course of the summer will take place in the gardens, located on the north side of lot 18, on Friday May 10 at 9:30 a.m. For those of you looking for things to do on campus during the summer term, this may be a good opportunity to dip your toes into one of the many things to experience here at UNF.

The gardens will also be holding two events the week of May 13. There will be an Intro to Organic Gardening class at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15 and Yoga in the Ogier Gardens at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 17.
