A good server can make the difference in the game. If there are multiple good serves in a row, the team can go from being tied to holding a commanding lead.
“Nicole's a great player, we're still pushing her to get even better and get more consistent,” Loesweick said. “She definitely makes my job easier. Having the confidence that shes back there knowing that she can make plays is great.”
In the game four players stepped up when the team needed them most. Middle blocker Marija Pantovic, outside hitter Paige Pridgeon, middle blocker Carolyn Jenkins and defensive specialist Kelsey Smith all made key plays at the end of sets to give UNF the win.
