Police and emergency vehicles have cleared the area and the arena garage is now open to incoming traffic.

A crash involving one car is blocking the entrance to the arena garage. A silver pick up truck hit a brick wall on the first floor of the garage facing the Student Union. At this time, it is still unclear how the crash happened.

Fire and Rescue arrived at the scene around 11:30 a.m. and were working to pry open the door to the car which was cramped shut from the impact of the crash. After removing the driver from the vehicle, he was transported onto a gurney. It is unclear whether or not the driver has suffered injuries.

The university recently added four speed bumps at the cost $19,000 in the Arena Parking Garage.

The arena garage still remains blocked off to incoming traffic. Spinnaker will update with more information as soon as it becomes available.
