For two games in a row, the Ospreys scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth. The Ospreys beat the Stags 6-3 and 7-4 on March 7 and then won 11-2 on March 8.
UNF’s redshirt freshman catcher Blake Voyles saved the game for the Ospreys (5-4) in the ninth inning on Wednesday night against Georgia Southern (5-4) at Harmon Stadium. With two outs looming overhead, Voyles’ shot to left field sent Nick Karmeris and Corbin Olmstead to home plate ending the game in favor of the Ospreys, 5-4.
UNF’s men’s baseball defeated The Citadel 16-9 on Feb. 18. Designated hitter Bubba Olivera scored what would end up being the game-winning run when a failed pickoff attempt from The Citadel led to an error, allowing Olivera to cross home plate.
