Three campus entities sought fee increases for next year. One requested an fee be instated, and three said the money the current fee gives them will be enough in 2013-14.
Quite honestly, other than the board’s approval of the controversial 15 percent tuition differential increase (which the Board of Governors approved, but decreased to 13 percent on June 21), the BOT rarely creates any controversy.
But then the BOT abused their power by violating Florida’s Sunshine Law during the June 19 main, or plenary, meeting.
UNF said the reason it moved the time of the plenary session of the June 19 UNF Board of Trustees meeting is because the board moved through the agenda faster than expected.
