Intersession at the University of North Florida begins May 1 and ends the week before the summer semester begins on May 8.
Students living in dorms must move out by Friday, May 1, at 3 p.m. Graduating students must move out of their dorms by Saturday, May 2, at noon.
Students who are approved to stay on campus between the end of the spring semester and the start of the summer semester must pay $252 (or $36 per night for seven nights). Below are the reduced options and hours of operation of on-campus services for students during intersession.
Dining
According to the hours of operation on UNF’s Dining Services website, the only two dining locations that will remain operational during intersession are the Market at Alumni Square and Einstein Bagel Bros.
The Market at Alumni Square and Einstein Bagel Bros. will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. the week of intersession and will be closed on weekends.
Recreation and Wellness
The Student Wellness Complex will be open from May 4 to May 8 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and May 9 and May 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The competition pool will be available during the same hours of operation.
Osprey Cliff will be closed during the entirety of the intersession.
Thomas G. Carpenter Library
Similar to on-campus dining services, the Thomas G. Carpenter Library will be closed during the weekends of intersession but open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.
