Ed, is it really that dissapointing? Okay there was some moving in issues, but there is really no one easy way to move everyone in, you just have to be patient. You are complaining that the rooms are small, but are you comparing the size of the Fountains dorm to another dorm or are still just ranting about the fact it took you 4 hours to move in..The layout of the room including dimensions has been online throughout the registering process, it should have been no suprise.. .And if you are a concerned paying parent then you should know the security at the Fountains is far more superior than any nearby off campus housing….

Sirs,
The Fountains have major flaws besides the cost to live there. Trying to move in hundreds of students at the same time with only 1 entrance is STUPID! The designer and those that signed off on the plans, should have to spend the rest of their lives helping carry clothes, refrigerators and other housing needs from the north parking lot to the south towers!! What an architectural F–K up. The 4 room suits are tiny and barely large enough for just necessity’s. The open closets are a joke (31″ wide). This will probably be freshman dorms from now on, since the upper class men will be moving to apartments for tons less!! Lazy river, putting green and in house 7-11 cant make up for a comfortable space to live and study at a fair price. Had very high hopes for the Fountains. Extremely disappointing as a paying parent.

I designed and had built that putting green. Please take care of it! It should be a blast, along with all the other great ammenities at Osprey. What can hurt this green is someone smacking a putter in disgust down into it after losing a 16 oz. bet. Don’t let it happen! Treat it like it is your own, because it really is your own. Enjoy it and have fun with it!
