U.S. Supreme Court Justice to speak at UNF

U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Stephen Breyer is scheduled to speak at UNF on Jan. 22, 2018. Breyer will be speaking on American Law and New Global Realities.

E-tickets will be available starting on Jan. 2. Tickets are complimentary and only require registration beforehand.

Breyer will be coming as part of the Distinguished Voices/Presidential Lecture series which is supported by the UNF Foundation and co-hosted by the World Affairs Council of Jacksonville’s Global Issues Evenings. Breyer has been an associate justice since 1994 when President Bill Clinton nominated him.

Other people featured in this lecture series include Elie Wiesel, Steve Wozniak, Maya Angelou, and Carl Hiaasen. Other speakers to attend the lecture series later in 2018 include Ambassador Stephen Sestanovich and former Mexican President Felipe Calderon.
