There are just a few weeks left before the fall semester starts here at UNF, which means students across campus are hunting out the best school supply deals. Luckily for us, this weekend from August 3 to August 5, certain supply items will be exempt from taxes.

This year, tax-exempt items include clothes, shoes, backpacks, purses and lunchboxes up to $60. You will also be able to save on basic school supplies such as lunchboxes, pens, pencils, highlighters and binders up to $15 dollars.

Technology items and textbooks will unfortunately not be included this year; however, Best Buy is hosting a generous laptop sale for students, up until August 4, with deals up to $150 off.
