“A recent study by the American Psychological Association found that between 60 and 80 percent of North American college students have had a hookup, even though 63 percent of college men and 83 percent of college women said they would prefer a traditional relationship.”

Spinnaker Media went out on campus and interviewed several students to hear their varying opinions.

“I mean you can definitely experiment in college, I mean like I said, that’s what it’s for,” Delilah Guccione, a UNF student said, “But finding a relationship maybe when you’re graduating because there’s so many long distance college relationships, there’s so many people out there, you don’t even know the world yet.”

“There’s no real ideal time, ‘cause when you’re ready, you’re ready,” another UNF student said, “But college does help that because you see so many people, you meet so many different people.”
