Club Alliance, an agency of Student Government, hosted Spring Bash Jan. 15 on the Green. Nearly 100 on-campus clubs set up tables to inform students about their initiatives and how they can join. Free food and entertainment were provided. There was a DJ and one-man band to entertain the crowd, and pizza, chips and soda were served. The event was funded by SG.
Spring Bash was scheduled to take place Jan. 13, but was postponed due to inclement weather.
Club Alliance told each club that having a table at the bash was first-come, first-served, Director Drew Grigg said. It also encouraged every club and alliance on campus to sign up so students would have the opportunity to be involved in every agency UNF has to offer, Grigg said.
“We do the Spring Bash each spring semester and Club Fest in the fall so students can find out about new opportunities and see what clubs can do for them and for the university,” Grigg said.
The two events will continue to be scheduled at the beginning of each semester, excluding the summer term, she said.
