North Florida women’s tennis set to play No. 15 Miami

The women's tennis team is heading to the NCAA Division-I Tennis Tournament May 8. The Ospreys will take on the University of Miami in the first round of the tournament.

UNF’s redshirt freshman catcher Blake Voyles saved the game for the Ospreys (5-4) in the ninth inning on Wednesday night against Georgia Southern (5-4) at Harmon Stadium. With two outs looming overhead, Voyles’ shot to left field sent Nick Karmeris and Corbin Olmstead to home plate ending the game in favor of the Ospreys, 5-4.
The lady Ospreys lost to USC Upstate in the A-Sun quarterfinals.

The Ospreys jumped on the women's volleyball game early on Nov. 7 and fought hard to beat the Lipscomb Bisons. The Bisons eventually overturned the Osprey advantage late in the fifth set and rode out the remaining points while keeping their opposition at bay.

The season ended for the UNF women's soccer team on Nov.1 after they lost to Northern Kentucky University, at home, in the Atlantic Sun Conference. Overall, the Ospreys fought against the odds this season by beating the predictions of their final placement in the conference.
