On the road at the Allen Arena in Nashville, Tn. the UNF men's basketball team (13-9) overcame a 19-29 halftime deficit against the Bisons (10-10) with a 56 point answer in the second half.
Early in the first half the Ospreys pulled ahead to a 17-10 score, but the Lipscomb University Bisons regained the lead and won with a final score of 62-71.
After beating the USC Upstate Spartans with a shutout win on Nov. 12, UNF's men's soccer team will face the Lipscomb Bisons tonight, Nov. 14, which will determine whether they play in the A-Sun Championship Final.
The Ospreys jumped on the women's volleyball game early on Nov. 7 and fought hard to beat the Lipscomb Bisons. The Bisons eventually overturned the Osprey advantage late in the fifth set and rode out the remaining points while keeping their opposition at bay.
On Saturday night, UNF men's soccer team lost to the Lipscomb Bisons 1-0. UNF Head Coach Derek Marinatos said he knew the match against the BIsons would be a tough one.
Ospreys won two games in their home series against the Lipscomb Bison this past weekend. The team earned a clinch playoff berth to the Atlantic Sun Conference and their first shutout game of the 2014 season.
