Correction: Feb. 4

Correction

Tyler Young was recently promoted to assistant director of Fraternity and Sorority Life. The $25,000 security deposit for the construction to begin was an initial deposit. There is no time frame for the 18 houses to be completed. Because of a reporter’s error, the article in the Feb. 4 story on page 1 gave Young’s former position. The article also omitted the word “initial” in characterizing the deposit. The article also mentioned a time frame for completion.

Clarification

The original plans for Greek housing included two permitting phases: the first to get approval by the St. Johns River Water Management District and the second to move from conceptual design to a first draft and provide cost estimates. The second phase was set to be finished by around February 2009, Shari Shuman told the Spinnaker in 2008.
