Photo of the Week – Meter

    Senior Photography Major

This photo, “Meter,” was made with an alternative process called Salt Printing. I created a digital negative, which was then placed on top of a sheet of Arches watercolor paper that had been hand sensitized the day before. The paper is then sandwiched with the negative and placed in an ultra violet light box to be exposed. This 45-minute process was invented in 1833 by William Henry Fox Talbot
