Osprey Productions brings the five-piece cutie-indie group Dignan to rock the UNF Amphitheater for free Thursday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. The Texan group dropped their debut full-length “Cheaters and Thieves” in June, mixing it at Premium Recordings in Austin and marketing it in a solely do-it-yourself format. Dignan is composed of original members Andy Pena on lead vocals and guitar and Devin Garcia pluckin’ bass. Heidi Plueger (keyboards), David Palomo (vocals) and Trey Perez (drums) round out the rest of the jangly, dusty band.
OP also plans to toss free food students’ way prior to the show. That’s right. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, — even cookies and lemonade — are available for students’ very own munching.
They encourage folks to bring blankets or towels to sprawl themselves, their friends and their free dinner upon.
Quiet Science opens.
