UPDATE – 6/20/2014 at 2:35 p.m.
Earlier today, Anthony Juwon Tallie was reached for comment on his disappearance.
He explains that he left his house on Saturday June 14 with a close friend to help her move out of her grandmother’s house. She told Tallie that she was in a bad living situation and needed to get out. He then took it upon himself to help her and find her a safe place to stay.
Tallie, discovered at a park on 118th street, explained his reasoning: “It was the best situation we found. There was still running water, there was still food, so we could survive there.”
He tells us it surprised him when he found 30 of his fraternity brothers at the park expressing concern.
