Free Starbucks today: Sub 30 is paying it forward

Update 9/6 at 12:55 p.m.

Today — Tuesday, Sept. 6 — Starbucks will be handing out free coffee and snacks from 9-11 a.m., funded by the on-campus ministry Sub 30.

Sub 30 is a campus ministry that is rooted in the local mega church, Celebration. They are reaching out to the community through the Pay-It-Forward initiative.

This Pay-It-Forward event is open to students,  faculty and staff. All those participating will get a free tall coffee of their choice, on the house.

For those who don’t drink coffee, Sub 30’s Communications Coordinator Julia Neal says people are also allowed to grab a pastry or a cold drink instead of the coffee.

The event will take place at the main Starbucks on campus and is only for the brief two-hour block of time, so it is advised that you get your spot in line and on time.
