Surf team wins silver and two solo titles in national competition

The UNF surf team finished second in the 2017 National Interscholastic Championship in Dana Point, Calif., with two surfers taking home the top honors.

Team captain Corey Howell became the first college men surfer to win back-to-back titles. Emily Ruppert, a 2014 winner, grabbed her second career college women crown.
This is the third consecutive year the team has taken home silver in the competition.
