UPDATE Irma Aftermath: Classes cancelled through Wednesday

***Update: Residential students who took shelter at Osprey Fountains and off-campus can return to their dorms as of 7 p.m. Monday evening. UNF Housing and Residence life also asked students to be careful, as it is still dangerous to travel in some areas.

The university announced Monday that classes, including online, will be cancelled through Wednesday. Classes will resume Thursday Sept. 14.

Offices at the University of North Florida will reopen Wednesday, Sept. 13. The statement said faculty and staff that are able to report to work are expected to be there Wednesday.

Fallen tree and debris have ridden campus after Irma and the university is currently assessing the damage. During this time, it is also asked of the campus community and the general public to remain out of the core of campus.
