Students got to see lots of colors today at this week’s Market Day.  Well, not all over the place, but on faces.

Artists from the Body Art Refined Exhibit (BARE) dabbed all sorts of bright colors and designs on those looking to brighten things up on an otherwise dreary day.

Whitney Myers, the creator and director for BARE, worked on a face piece in front of students that took a couple of hours to complete. BARE was at Market Day to promote its upcoming exhibit, which will feature full body painting. Myers said it takes a minimum of six hours to paint the entire body.

The art exhibit will be held on Jan. 21 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Adam Herbert University Center. Admission to the event costs $18 for students.

In addition to seeing the exhibit, students will also get a chance to get their own faces painted.
