Funeral information regarding recent UNF student death released

New details have emerged in the days after former UNF Student Greg Yutuc, 22, passed away in a car accident. Spinnaker reached out to Greg’s father, Gerry Yutuc, on Facebook, who said Greg saved his mother during the crash.

“My wife was the driver,” he said. “Greg saved his mom from direct impact by grabbing the steering wheel and steered it to the left, transferring all the hard impact on his side.”

According to Yutuc, Greg’s Celebration of Life service will be held this Friday, July 20 at 11 a.m. at the Church at Argyle. It is not yet known if another memorial service will be held at UNF.
