The African American Student Union (AASU) will no longer be a part of Student Government after weeks of debates and protests over the hiring of Assistant Director Torey McCleskey.
The decision to remove the AASU as an agency will be made official at the Senate Meeting March 7 at 7:30 p.m. Senate President Carlo Fassi confirmed the changes being made and encourages people to come to the Senate meeting.
The AASU will be integrated into the Intercultural Center For Peace, but details have not been confirmed about the move.
