Veterans from the Jacksonville area were honored on Nov. 9th with a reception held by the UNF Military and Veterans Resource Center and featured Rear Admiral Mary M. Jackson as the guest speaker.
During the Nov. 2 committee meetings, senators met to discuss the possible expansion of UNF’s nature preserve and announced a funding request for a free printing program this spring.
In an effort to reduce turnover and increase the social work force, the Florida Department of Children and Families has a sponsored a stipend program that allots money to Bachelor of Social Work students.
