Police Beat: Two chairs thrown from a walkway and a student caught with weed

An unknown suspect threw two chairs from the second floor walkway of Building 14 onto the first floor March 1, and a UNFPD officer didn’t file any criminal charges against a student in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia because the student was cooperative.

Student housing rent increases, 17 music course fees proposed to AOC

At the Auxiliary Oversight Committee meeting Feb. 11, UNF's College of Computing and Engineering & Construction requested to discontinue a lab fee while UNF's Music Department requested 17 new course fees. Housing and Residence Life requested a raise in rent, and ITS requested an additional $20,000 in additional spending authority.

Police Beat: Items stolen from Wellness Center locker and four non-UNF students caught with weed

A UNF student had his Osprey 1Card, driver’s license and debit card stolen after he left them in a locker at the Student Wellness Center, two 18-year-olds and two 17-year-olds were caught with marijuana and paraphernalia on Feb. 21. and a 22-year-old non-UNF student received a Notice To Appear for possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on Feb. 22.
