After a suspicious person waved a large stick in a threatening manner in front of UNF Alumni Hall, he was tased by UNFPD officers. The suspect fell to the ground and then got back up and fled north into the woods, parallel to Kernan Boulevard.

UNF ranked third for 2015’s Best Online Nursing Schools

Affordable Colleges Foundation (ACF) ranked UNF the third best online nursing school in the country. It is the only Florida state university on the list. ACF compiled a list of 47 schools across the country after analyzing 2,000 not-for-profit institutions using a team of data analysts and researchers. Only schools with the best curriculum options, student support services and affordability made the list.
