Osprey Radio, the University of North Florida’s radio station, will showcase bands Surfer Blood and Gospel Music at a free indie-rock concert Sunday, Jan. 8.
The doors to the Ballroom in the Student Union (Room 3703/Building 58 West) open at 7 p.m. for light complimentary refreshments, and the bands start performing at 8 p.m.
Former UNF student Derek Lee Mrasak was sentenced to 11 years in the Florida Department of Corrections followed by nine years of drug offender probation Dec. 7, in connection with a hit-and-run fatality that occurred Oct. 16, 2010.
