The Boathouse and 40 parking spaces will be blocked off for a party Dec. 11.
The Boathouse will be closed at 3 p.m. on Dec. 11 and UNF is also blocking off 40 parking spaces in the arena garage from 7:30 p.m. Dec. 10, until 6 p.m. Dec.11. This is to accommodate for a UNF Foundation/Board of Trustees/Museum of Contemporary Art Holiday party.
Kelly Gates with Public Relations said the party was planned for finals week because there were a lot of calendars to take into consideration, and Dec. 11 happened to be what worked best for the board, President Delaney’s office, the members of the foundation and MOCA.
When asked about the event, Joanna Norris, Assistant Director of Public Relations, said the event is primarily for the University foundation, but it is not a fundraiser of any sort. It’s simply a party.
