If you need a break from taking summer classes, working full-time or anything else that’s busying your summer, consider taking a trip to swim with the shark. The UNF Dive Club is advertising for students to take a trip to Jupiter, Florida on a shark dive. No experience is required and equipment, like masks, snorkels and fins (fake ones), is provided.
There will be two trips, one on June 25th and 26th. When it comes to swimming with the big fish, you have the option to either snorkel inside or outside of the shake cage. The team is partnering with Florida Shark Diving, a company that has been featured on Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, and Shark Week (of course).
The trip costs $160, and spots are limited to 18 participants. There will also be a pre-trip departure meeting. To find out how you can snorkel and take a dip in the same space where sharks swim about, check out the club’s Facebook event.
