The University of North Florida was listed as the eighth most affordable college out of the top 50 nationally ranked public universities, according to this study.
The rankings were a result of reviewing over 600 colleges and universities across the nation, assessing criteria like the cost of tuition, how much financial aid students receive, graduation rates and overall costs.
These rankings are based on costs for in-state students. Other factors considered were the student-to-faculty ratio, number of programs and enrollment rates.
This newly awarded ranking is one of a number of other national recognitions UNF has received so far this year. These awards include the “Best in the Southeast Award” from the Princeton Review, the 2017 “Best College” award from College Factual and the “Best Regional University” award from U.S. News & World Report.
