UNF lacrosse defeated Georgia Southern 15-7 Saturday afternoon at the soccer practice field to open their 2017 season. The squad beat the Golden Eagles for the first time in five years.
The Ospreys struck first and continued to piled on the goals throughout the contest.
Jason Randolph, a junior midfielder, scored three goals for the Ospreys. Randall was excited with his performance and had a positive outlook on the team’s play.
“I felt great,” Randolph said, “We feel good, we got a lot of new players and great coaches.” .
The lacrosse team hits the road to face the University of Florida Jan. 29.
