Slow down, grab the wall… Sage the Gemini, who is known for his popular singles “Gas Pedal” and “Red Nose,” will be coming to UNF to perform at the Osprey Productions Week of Welcome Concert Aug. 26.

His most recent album “Morse Code” came out this summer, and you may recognize his most recent song “Now & Later” from the black and white Snapchat filter with colorful sunglasses. He is part of the HBK Gang (Heartbreak Gang), a hip-hop group from San Francisco Bay area. He has collaborated with several artists including IAMSU! and Nick Jonas.

“Sage the Gemini is on the rise,” Osprey Productions Director Rachel Bryant said. “This is an opportunity to hear an up and coming artist for free. A chance to get to hear his music at the very beginning, and be involved with something that is going to continue I’m sure for several years.”

This year’s concert will be held on Saturday, Aug. 26 at 8 p.m. at the Coxwell Amphitheater. Doors will open at 7:15 p.m. In the event of rainy weather, the concert will be moved into the Field House.

The concert is free for UNF students with a valid Osprey ID. If you aren’t a student, general admission tickets are available for $25 at the UNF box office, which is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Aug. 26, the box office will be open at 5 p.m.

Food and beer will be available at the concert.
