50 blue lot spots unavailable this week

As if parking on campus wasn’t already crazy, there will be reduced Blue Lot parking availability on the second floor of the Arena Parking Garage from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7.
There are 50 Blue Lot spaces being reserved for committee members attending the Foundation Board Meeting and Luncheon in the Student Union. The Arena Parking Garage is located across from the gym, near Building 58.
If students don’t want to be stuck in the traffic on Thursday, it is recommended they park in alternative lots.
“My suggestion would be go to the gray lot and take the shuttle into [campus]. That’s your easiest quickest way during congested times,” George Androuin, director of Parking Services said.
After 2 p.m., the reserved Blue Lot spaces will be reopened and parking will resume as usual.
