Uber and Lyft are making it easier for voters to get to the polls on Election Day by offering free/discounted rides.

With cooperation from the #VoteTogether and Democracy Works organizations, Uber is offering free rides to the polls, according to Uber.

Lyft is offering half price rides on Election Day and are working with groups like Voto Latino, to make the voting process one step easier to underprivileged communities. Election Day is November 6 and people with the Uber app will see an Election Day button and riders can find their polling location and book a ride with “just a few taps”, according to Uber.
