Amendment 3: Voter Control of Gambling in Florida

Amendment 3 decides who gets the exclusive right to decide whether or not a new casino can open in the Sunshine State: the voters or the Florida Legislature.

In other words, the success of this amendments means that Florida voters get the right to authorize gambling and new casinos.

Amendment 12

The passing of this amendment will expand rules on public officials. These rules will ban government officials from lobbying in state and federal government during their terms. This also stops these officials from using their position for personal gain.

Amendment 13

With amendment 13 passed, commercial dog racing will be phased out by 2020.
