Police Beat: Car mischief and roommate problems

Car mischief

UNFPD responded to a call on Jan. 8 regarding alleged criminal mischief to a vehicle on the first floor of lot 38.

An unknown suspect reportedly used a sharp object to damage the car. No photo evidence or suspect information was obtained and patrol efforts were suspended.

Roommate problems

On Jan. 8, UNFPD was dispatched in a response to roommate disturbance in Osprey Crossings which involved two females.

According to police, the two females got into an argument after one began touching and moving around the other’s belongings.

The argument then escalated and reportedly resulted in a physical altercation, although there was no evidence of physical injuries.

Patrol efforts were suspended.
