Hurricane Dorian has now been projected to become a Category 4 hurricane upon landfall.

According to News4Jax, “Dorian, which strengthened into a Category 1 hurricane Wednesday afternoon, is now projected to reach Category 4 strength before it makes landfall along Florida’s east coast early next week.”

The storm could grow into a Category 4 as it pushes northwest, according to the National Hurricane Center.
