Question of the Week

By: Katie Gile

What’s the earliest acceptable time of year to start hearing Christmas music in stores?

“The earliest I can do is the first week of December. It makes me mad to hear Christmas music when it’s not even Thanksgiving.”
-Julianne Doctor, Biology, Junior

“The day after Black Friday is the earliest appropriate time for me.”
-Kevin Vu, Psychology, Senior

“Not until December. I don’t want to be thinking about Thanksgiving and hearing ‘Jingle Bells.’ Would you want to celebrate New Years on Christmas? I wouldn’t.”
-Jessica Gonzalez, Business Management, Junior

“Late November. Right at Thanksgiving seems about right.”
-William Stanley, Business Management, Junior
