After a suspicious person waved a large stick in a threatening manner in front of UNF Alumni Hall, he was tased by UNFPD officers. The suspect fell to the ground and then got back up and fled north into the woods, parallel to Kernan Boulevard.

A faculty member told UNFPD a fire extinguisher had been sprayed throughout a classroom in Building 14A, a Physical Facilities employee found three broken metal patio chairs near Chick-Fil-A and a student was caught with marijuana and paraphernalia in the driver’s car March 3 around 12:05 a.m.

Police Beat: Items stolen from Wellness Center locker and four non-UNF students caught with weed

A UNF student had his Osprey 1Card, driver’s license and debit card stolen after he left them in a locker at the Student Wellness Center, two 18-year-olds and two 17-year-olds were caught with marijuana and paraphernalia on Feb. 21. and a 22-year-old non-UNF student received a Notice To Appear for possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on Feb. 22.
