UNF’s Department of Health hosted the 2nd annual Swoopacalypse 5k Zombie Run on Oct. 30 at 10 p.m. Putting a twist to a classic 5k race, students could either participate as a runner or volunteer to be a zombie. Zombie volunteers with their makeup done by Cynthia Brantley, mechanical engineering sophomore, chased after the runners (victims) to obtain their green tags before making the finish line. The race began behind the Student Wellness Complex for both the undead and living runners.
