The following information is according to reports from the UNF Police Department.
Locker rooms vandalized during basketball game
In the UNF Arena, an unknown suspect punched a hole in the sheetrock in the women’s locker room and tore a paper towel dispenser off the wall in the men’s locker room on Feb. 28 between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
UNF Housekeeping went into the women’s locker room prior to the visiting team arriving and did not observe a hole in the wall. After the visiting team left, they noticed the hole.
Housekeeping also stated that the paper towel dispenser was torn off the wall sometime during the basketball game.
The officer estimated the total damage to be around $725.
Due to the custodial supervisor being off over the weekend, the incident was not reported until Monday.
There are no known suspects or witnesses at this point.
Patrol efforts have been suspended.
