UNF will host the USATF National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships as well as UNF Summer 2015 Commencement next week, which will impact parking from July 27 through Aug. 2.

According to a letter from Parking and Transportation Services, attendants of the USATF Track and Field Championships will be parking in Lot 18 near Hodges Stadium, with overflow parking in Lot 14. The event will take place from Monday, July 27 to Friday, July 31.

Furthermore, two UNF summer commencement ceremonies are scheduled to be held on Friday, July 31 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., where guests will park on the second, third and fourth floors of the Arena Parking Garage (Bldg 38).

According to the letter, both events are expected to significantly impact campus traffic and parking. Students and faculty should allow extra time to arrive and leave campus, and should avoid parking in the Arena Garage on July 31 as well as Lot 18 and 14 throughout the week.

Alternative parking areas include Lot 53 (by Hicks Hall), which requires use of the shuttle, or the second, third and fourth floors of the Fine Arts Parking Garage (Bldg 44).
