As of noon Monday, the Parking Services office has confirmed the online permit purchasing system is down until further notice.
The website says it’s due to a “database error”. Spinnaker spoke to Parking Services this morning about the issue and a staff member said they are working to get the site back up and running.
For students with 20 or more credit hours completed, who were supposed to begin purchasing permits today, Parking Services says students shouldn’t worry about not getting a pass. This is because there are so many available, and the next wave of students allowed to purchase permits begins Aug. 1. Ultimately, “juniors” will still get priority purchase times.
According to the Parking Services voicemail recording, students will know when permits are able to purchase through the parking link in their MyWings account.
Spinnaker will update with more information when it becomes available.
