Although classes Monday are cancelled, many campus facilities are open, including the library, Student Health Services, some food venues and the shuttles.
“We hope to have all operations back to normal Tuesday, Oct. 10,” said the most recent Osprey Update.
Here’s the full list of things that are open on campus. Note that many of the hours have been altered from the normal schedule.
- Carpenter Library, Building 12, will open at 7:00 a.m.
- Student Health Services, located in J. Brooks Brown Addition, Building 39A, Room 2098, will be open 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Outtakes in Alumni Square, adjacent to Founders Hall, Building 2, will be open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Starbucks, located adjacent to Carpenter Library, will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Jamba Juice, located at the Student Wellness Complex, will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The Boathouse, located in Student Union, Building 58W, Room 2600, will be open 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Pita Pit, located in the Osprey Clubhouse, Building 17, and Ozzie’s Convenience Store and Grill, located in Osprey Fountains, Building 55, will have regular hours
- Osprey Café, located in Building 16, will be open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Student Wellness Complex, Building 61, will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Game Room at the Student Union, Building 58E, will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Field House, Building 26, will be open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- Mail Room will be open to sort mail, but won’t make deliveries
- Bookstore, located in the Student Union, Building 58W, will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Hayt Golf Learning Center, Building 48, will operate on a limited basis as some areas aren’t available for activity
- Institute for Police Technology and Management, located in the Herbert University Center, Building 43, will have classes as scheduled
- Herbert University Center, Building 43, will be open
- Fine Arts Center, Building 45, will be open
- The shuttles will continue to operate until midnight tonight, Sunday, Oct. 9
- The Town Center shuttle will run as regularly scheduled Monday, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- There will be no other shuttles on campus on Monday. Parking staff will post notices in shelters so that grey permit holders know there aren’t shuttles and they can park in the core of campus.
