OZ Fest returned to the Coxwell Amphitheater this year with the biggest crowd the campus has seen in awhile.

Performances included openings from Master Radical and Palm Trees and Power Lines, Daya, The Mowglis and the headliner, Tove Lo, who replaced Matt & Kim.

Organized by Osprey Productions, the festival had more than just musical performances this year. The long line to get in became several long lines inside the venue as attendees waited to get a balloon hat or henna tattoo. Food trucks were there (with particularly tasty grilled cheese) and there was an oxygen bar where students hooked up to some pure, concentrated oxygen tubes. It wasn’t vaping; it was even cooler.

The air was cool and the wind was breezy on the chilliest night of the week, but that barely seemed to slow the Ospreys down. The entire event was filled with cheering, jumping, screaming and oxygen smoking. For a while, it seemed like the looming final exams were the last things on everyone’s mind.
