LGBT Resource Center says goodbye to program coordinator

Jake Moore, the program coordinator of the UNF LGBT Resource Center, will be leaving UNF after four years of working for the program, and five years of working for the university.

While Moore held the position of program coordinator, the university implemented gender-inclusive housing and gender-neutral bathrooms on campus.UNF has also been named as one of the top 50 LGBT-friendly universities by College Choice.

Moore will be heading to Denver, CO, to work for the Gill Foundation, an organization that works to secure equality for LGBT people in the United States.

The LGBT Resource Center is throwing a farewell party May 3 at 11:30 a.m. in the Student Union for Moore.
