A UNF student was arrested after he pointed a gun at his roommate and pulled the trigger, according to UNFPD.

An Osprey Update that was sent to students stated that a student did pull the trigger in a Fountains dorm room. The victim told UNFPD that the gun “did not go off.”

The roommate went to the UNF police station to report the incident. Officers searched the suspect’s dorm and car, but no weapon was recovered. According to the update, the student is charged with aggravated assault.
