Women's basketball: New year, same old story

The UNF women’s basketball team picked up conference play right where they left off, Thursday night against Florida Gulf Coast.

The Ospreys were outplayed both defensively and offensively dropping the game 73-51, . One watching this game might think it Brittany Kirkland against FGCU.

Scoring nearly 20 points, she was the only sunshine on this dark day for UNF.

The women’s basketball team will host Stetson Dec. 4 at 4:30 p.m. in their search for a conference victory.

How much longer can we keep a coach who hasn’t had a winning season in at least 6, going on 7 years? I wish I had that kind of job security!
