The UNF Astronomy Club and the UNF Department of Physics are hosting a wonder-filled Astronomy Night on Friday, July 27.

This event will primarily focus on Mars. The night will be prefaced by a talk on life on Mars and the opposition of Mars.

Mars will be the closest to Earth when in opposition, appearing two-thirds the size of Jupiter in the sky. After the presentation, attendees will be observing Mars as well as Saturn, Jupiter, and other star systems, such as the binary star system of Mizar and Alcor.

The event is at 8 p.m. in Bldg. 50.
