IHOP is selling $1 pancakes just in time for memorial day

IHOP is selling $1 pancakes nationwide today in order to benefit the college scholarships of children who have lost a parent in the military, according to firstcoastnews.com.

From 7 a.m to 7 p.m today, you can get a short stack of three pancakes for $1 while supporting a good cause. IHOP is holding the event with Children of Fallen Patriots , a fundraiser that provides scholarships and educational counseling to children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.

The goal of this event is to raise $1 million. Children of Fallen Patriots states that 97 percent of students who are part of the CFP program graduate college debt-free.
